UnityPoint Health - Blank Children's Hospital Emergency Department

"5 stars because Dr. Andrew Sims and his staff are excellent. Only complaints I have is, was a lady in labs who lied about the amount of hair they take being a pencil tips worth (there's bigger than a .50 cent piece size bald spot on her head) (see picture) same lady insisted on continuing to call child the wrong name even after being corrected and she wondered why child didn't want to talk to her or answer her questions. In fairness I should have known the situation was questionable when she pulled out child safety scissors out to make the massive cut they said would be a size of a tip of a pencil."

"Absolutely a joke. Waiting for emergency should not have to be over 4 hours. While they jump you to help other people."

"Incredible experience. We brought our 3 year old son in who we suspected had broken his arm after a slip and fall. The doctors and nurses were all incredibly kind and got an x-ray and cast in place very quickly, we were on our way out the door in under 2 hours. Each step they were careful to encourage and calm our 3 year old. So thankful for these doctors and nurses!!"

"Why lie about not telling me about a prescription you told me you was going to prescribe my son? And people told me about this hospital! Make sure you record everything when talking to a doctor"
