"Iowa City Tattoo (previously called Nemesis) is awesome. I love the atmosphere. To me, it's edgy but close knit. Both of my experiences here went great. My first tattoo was done by Andrew, my second by Jeff (Jeff is seriously the coolest dude). I also brought my sister here for her tattoo, which she had done by Jeff, and she loved it."

"Had an appointment with Jeff a few weeks ago, the ink room is sectioned off if there is more than one appointment going on, the tables are all plastic wrapped for safety, and Jeff wore a mask the entire time. I'm happy with the quality of my tattoo and had a good time getting it as well. Will definitely return if I'm ever in town and want to get another tattoo."

"I can not say enough great things about this shop. The entry way, waiting area and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The waiting area has a ton of art of the wall to get your creative juices flowing. Anne is out of this world. She took the photos I sent to her of my dogs paw and captured the most amazing tattoo ever. The care she took with me, being this was my first tattoo was wonderful. It was a very special moment when I was able to see the finished product. I highly recommend this shop and Anne's work."

"Andrew is a great tattoo artist, I definitely recommend him. He listened to how we wanted our designs to be, and was very attentive to this. However, one of the front desk guys was INCREDIBLY rude to us, and almost made us decide to leave and go somewhere else. Some of the tattoo artists are great here, but the shop needs to consider not hiring people who are going to treat their customers in such a poor way."
