Special K's Transport

"I used this company for transportation to my son's graduation ceremony. They were on time, the driver, Bill, was courteous, friendly, professional, and careful. I have utilized other transportation companies and Special K's is the only one that was capable, and willing to transport me, and my bariatric, wide, power wheelchair. The other companies did not have lifts, only ramps, or did not want to deal with a bariatric patient in a power wheelchair. I am thankful for Special K's."

"We transported our 93 year old mother from the senior living center to a family graduation party on the weekend. The normal prices are $55 round trip. But the transport never disclosed to us or the home (who set it up for us) the the weekend rate was $90rt plus because we sent her back at 4:30 instead of 4 it was considered after hours. $125 for a 3 hour family gathering. When I called to ask why it was not disclosed they were less than helpful and just kept putting the blame on the home. "They didn't ask". It is common practice everywhere to disclose extra charges. I asked if it was posted on their website... nope. Price sheet?? They don't give that out unless asked. Hhhmmmm look elsewhere folks."

"Absolute liars! We used them for my mother in law and when we received their bill it was twice what they originally quoted! The driver told us them taking her up and downstairs was included in their fee and then they charged us an extra $50 per trip for taking her up and down. Will never use again and recommend no one else does, they are thieves!"

"This company needs to be investigated by the BBB for reckless and very dangerous drivers. Had one run a red light beside me, cut me off at another intersection, and have a total disregard for anyone around them. The vehicle claimed they they treat your family like their own? That's scary! DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE, ITEMS, ANYTHING!"

"POOR!!! My father, confined to a wheelchair and hardly able to move, sits in the nursing home looking at 4 walls. We hired them to transport him to his only granddaughter's wedding. Besides me taking him for walks around the block or for doctor appointments, he never leaves the home. Special K arrived at the home and asked for the wrong person, my dad sitting there dressed up with a new haircut, about to attend the most important event of his granddaughter's life. He did not make it to the wedding, and due to Special K's incompetence, the wedding was ruined."
