"Extremely rude new staff. Have heard them be rude to others while sitting across the library as well."
"Solid on-campus spot for coffee, sodas, chips, etc. Standard grab and go fare and they keep the Monster nice and cold. What else do you want? Lines can back up between class times, especially with an often-changing staff, but if one cannot love this student-ran cafe for the semi discombobulated but invaluable stop that it is, they have no soul anyway."
"Hot food is usually good and pre packaged food is like any other c-store. The Starbucks drinks they serve, however, are lowkey gross. I usually get the same thing at every place serving starbucks, a hot dirty chai with almond milk. I don't know exactly what caused it, but the espresso tastes like dirt water with grains of sand. The regular hot chai here is fine and good, but add the espresso and it is n a s t y. It's not a one time thing either, I've come maybe 100 times over the last year and every single drink I've had with espresso turns nasty. Like I said, I always get starbucks dirty chai's, I even work at a starbucks and can make them to the book and they taste great, so it's not the drink. It's the espresso here. Also, the nasty tasting hot chai I received today was lukewarm going on cold at best, and I practically took it out of the barista's hand seconds after it had been made. I'm thinking they pumped the chai, steamed the milk, and had to wait a few minutes to pull the shots to dump on top. Which also says something about the handling of drink sequencing. In short, if you're getting a drink, avoid the espresso and save yourself $6 on dirty sand water."
"How is it this bad? I never give 2 stars. This cafe gets the MOST foot traffic on campus because it’s the freaking library. Yet you would be better off going to the worst gas station in the city for food. Who thought yeah Doritos, chicken salad sandwiches, and hummus qualified as good meals? There’s no creativity or decent options for food! They should ask the students what they want because their crummy options have forced me to go blocks away for descent food way too many times. I gave two stars bc the workers are not as lazy and unfriendly like the year before. The new staff is much better. But seriously, I have never had to leave a place so many times after being willing to spend my money. It’s annoying that they get the spot and not a better restaurant/cafe."
"Not pleased with my last service. I waited 10 minutes for an iced coffee that I pour myself and NOT ONE person gave me a cup or actually did their job and were extremely rude. Screw the service. I get you're college students but its a job and treat your customers as you would any other place and if you don't like people THEN DON'T TAKE THE JOB. I'm just really irritated."
