Dakota Budokan, located at 2000 West 42nd Street in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is a premier institution offering classes in Judo, Jujitsu, Submission grappling, Karate, and Yoga. Our focus is on teaching progressive martial arts with traditional values and culture, aiming to produce skilled martial artists who also contribute positively to their community.

Our programs cater to all ages and experience levels, with classes for kids aged 4-13, adults, and now women's only classes for fitness and self-defense. We believe in the principle of mutual welfare and benefit, fostering a supportive environment where students can train at their own pace and improve together.

Dakota Budokan is also known for hosting the Sioux Falls Open martial arts tournament, welcoming schools of all styles to compete in various events such as gi and no gi Submission grappling, Karate forms, weapon forms, point sparring, and sport jujitsu. Our institution has been the defending team champions for the past 3 years, showcasing our dedication to excellence in martial arts.
