The View at Horizon Ridge Apartments

"We lived here for 3 years and loved it! The apartments are updated and the entire complex itself is the best we found in Henderson (we had looked at about 10 different complexes around town) and it’s small so you’re not over crowded and it’s well maintained. Ricky and the rest of the maintenance team work every day to make sure the place looks beautiful and they resolve issues quickly. Big shout out to Christy in the office, she’s so kind and takes time to get to know the residents. Thanks for a great 3 years, guys!"

"We’re going on a year of living at The View on Horizon Ridge and it’s been a great experience. The property is well kept. The maintenance team is polite and services issue’s promptly. The pool is always clean. I love that they routinely power wash the rocks and sidewalks. They also frequently spray the outside for bug prevention which gets bonus points from me. The office staff are nice. It seems like every month they’re doing something for the residents. We’ve gotten free pizza, donuts, icy cups, etc. It definitely makes you feel appreciated. We love our apartment! We rarely hear the upstairs neighbors. It’s updated and clean. Really no issue at all with the interior or exterior. The people here are friendly and slightly nosy, but I guess it comes with the territory. For the most part, dog owners picks up their dogs poop. Don’t let 1 person’s “bad” experience deter you from coming and checking out this property."

"Moved in a few months ago, pool and spa always closed. They finally reopened it and BOOM, back to being completely shut down. Allegedly Clark County shut it down due to a drain cover in the spa being not up to code. They COULD fix it, yet they do not fix it. It's been closed two weeks and management doesn't care about the needs of the renters. We are paying top dollar in Henderson to be here. Plan on not having access to amenities. I wanted to use the grill yesterday, nope sorry its all shut down. No grill, no pool, no spa. DO NOT LIVE HERE!"

"The pool area has been unavailable for over a week. We have no use of the pool, BBQ of deck chairs. Management don't even have the decency of a courtesy email. When my husband wrote to management, the email went ignored. My husband spoke to management about the automatic gate issue and still 3 weeks later, no solution has been provided. I would stay well away."

"A Nightmare of Constant Harassment and Neglected Maintenance I regret to say that my experience with The View at Horizon Ridge has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the incessant badgering about paperwork I've already submitted to the amenities that don't work, not to mention the omnipresence of dog feces throughout the premises, and maintenance requests that seem to fall on deaf ears, this place has been a source of frustration and disappointment. First and foremost, the office's incessant harassment regarding paperwork is beyond aggravating. Despite submitting all required documents promptly, I was bombarded with constant reminders, emails, and calls about missing paperwork. It's as if they have no record-keeping system or any regard for their tenants' time and sanity. Moving on to the amenities, it's astounding how they simply don't function as advertised. The pool are is closed including the lounge chairs and BBQ area and the Jacuzzi is broken. It's a slap in the face to pay for these amenities only to find them unusable or in a state of disrepair. Additionally, the issue of dog feces littering the grounds is not only disgusting but also a health hazard. Despite complaints, there seems to be no concerted effort to enforce pet policies or properly maintain the cleanliness of the premises. It's unacceptable to have to navigate through a minefield of feces every time I step outside my door. And let's not forget about maintenance requests that simply went unanswered. I have tried to do the right thing and speak to management in the office but I'm afraid my concerns fall on deaf ears. I'm now forced to lodge a complaint with the Nevada Real Estate Devision. In conclusion, I would strongly advise against renting from The View At Horizon Ridge. The constant harassment, lack of functional amenities, prevalence of dog feces, and neglect of maintenance requests make this place an absolute nightmare to live in. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for housing."
