"Since my teenage years, I suffered from monthly period pain that was debilitating. The pain was intense, making me feel like my stomach was being constantly pulled down, and I would experience extreme coldness in that area. Despite seeing various doctors in China and the USA, the treatments involved unpleasant Chinese medicine that required hours of cooking and had a strong smell.
