"If you value your life, do not go to this ER. My partner was taken to the ER on March 21st with signs and symptoms of again septic shock or withdrawal off a medication. In the er I had asked for a different kind of nausea medication as the one given was not subsiding it. the nurse came back in stating that the Dr was going to give this other medication to her due to it being readily available. When telling the nurse she could not have this medication due to her reaction. Another nurse chimed in asking what kind of reaction. I stated what happens, the nurse said she would talk to the Dr about the medicine. She comes back with an IV form of the medication I stated she can't have, as she's administering in the iv she's telling me the dr halfed and did 1mg of this medication via the being readily available and that the other medication that she can have takes a lil longer to get mixed and brought from pharmacy. After being administered she had a reaction worse than the times prior. When speaking to Dr herbst about the situation, he was nothing but unprofessional and rude. When I finally stated I don't understand why you would give this medicine and I'm not happy about the situation. He said I could argue with you all day about this medication but I have work to do and walked away. I am my partners advocate in times in need as her state of health is extremely vulnerable. And when a dr chooses to not listen and nor look into chart. Something has got to give. I have spoken to several upper hand staff. But reading that other people still have the same issues.. something hadls got to give and change."

"Apparently its an issue for the nurses to answer the "call" button. Was up visiting my mother who had pressed the call button, a family member flew a nurse down and told her, nurse said shell be right there. 20-30mins later a nurse pops her head in the door and says she needs to grab help, another 20-30mins go by before they came. They were not busy, alot of empty rooms. Good thing it wasnt anything life threatening."

"I delivered my daughter at Lakeside this past week and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. The nurses were phenomenal and made sure I was taken care of and heard. I had a long labor and they were there every step of the way. Thank you to everyone who took care of me and my baby girl. I appreciate you all."

"Avoid this ER if you value your life! Took my wife here with 8/10 abdominal pain, saw the triage nurse after waiting a half-hour, vitals taken and a blood draw and urine sample. Back to the waiting room for another 3 hours, with no follow-up. Saw the sheriff bring in a prisoner who received priority treatment (came and went while we were waiting). After nearly 4 hours we walked out. Went to a non-CHI ER and got pain meds, an exam and cat scan and were out in 38 minutes with a diagnosis and prescription."

"Giving birth here was the best decision we made. Thanks to the maternity nurses and my c-section surgeons!! I had to go in three separate times with Braxton hicks, they were so compassionate and understanding as a fist time mom. Then I ended up having to have an emergency c-section, and was struggling, things started get intense very quickly, our nurse, stayed as cool, calm, and compassionate as she could! Not to mention, all of our nurses were so conversational, and light hearted, exactly what I needed. As a first time mom, I had so many worries and anxieties after, one of the nurses stayed and talked with me, almost a full therapy session, for almost 20 minutes, when I know she had plenty to do, to make sure mentally I was getting through it. BEYOND AMAZING. and all the nurses who helped throughout all the induction process and post op care, our family owes you everything! Best experience I could have had. I wish I could mention the names of the nurses, not sure if I can on here, but those women need all the praise they can get!! I will always make sure our son knows what amazing care he got those few days❤️ I also want to add that for our post birth care, the bed was huge and very comfortable, and our room care was amazing."
