We understand that brain growth is most aggressive before birth and into early childhood, and experiences during this time shape the growth. That's why we focus on providing nurturing and responsive care to support healthy brain development. Our primary caregiving practice assigns each infant or toddler to one specific caregiver, ensuring consistent, responsive, and meaningful interactions to build strong attachments and relationships.

Our curriculum is research-based and focuses on the development of the whole child, addressing cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical abilities. We also emphasize confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Through observations, our teachers can better understand each child's strengths and weaknesses, allowing for individualized learning experiences that build on their knowledge.

Studies at SEE are hands-on, project-based investigations of topics relevant to children's everyday lives. Project-based learning allows children to take agency of their own learning and represent their knowledge through meaningful artifacts. We also emphasize hands-on learning to engage all five senses and provide opportunities for children to explore literacy, math, science, social studies, technology, and the arts.

At SEE, we believe in working together with parents to help children acquire the skills, attitudes, and habits for success in school and life. We offer parent-teacher conferences, wow experiences, and celebrations to involve families in their child's learning journey. Additionally, LearningGames are research-validated early learning activities that strengthen relationships between families and reinforce classroom teachings.
