"I called twice and left messages to have someone call me back to make an appointment. I never got a return call. The 2 people I talked to one the phone were very friendly, so I gave them 2 stars. The consultant that lost me as a customer gets zero stars."
"Beautiful showroom. I went in to see if they could help me with a replacement seat for a toilet. The person at the front desk seemed very stressed and annoyed that I was there. She said that there was no one else available, so she would have to help me. I had no problem waiting, but Okay??? I had done some online research the day before, and was pretty sure the exact seat was not available anymore, but there were several seats I saw online (including brands this store has) that claimed to work for our toilet and would be in the $150-200 range. I explained what I was looking for. She said that they didn’t sell that brand. I asked if any of their brands had seats in the same size as mine. She begrudgingly took me over to a toilet on the showroom floor. It was not the correct style or shape, I showed her a picture of our toilet (I also had the measurements and specs) and she said again “we don’t sell that brand” and just glared at me. No offer of maybe me making an appointment for a later date with someone knowledgeable, no offer to get my number and have someone call me, just glared at me. So I said thank you and left, feeling pretty confident that they in fact did have something that would work for me, but it wasn’t going to be found by this person. Overall a disappointing experience."
"We ordered many appliances for our new home and was met with incredible service from our rep. However, we need a simple replacement part for a dripping faucet and it has been a 2 month process and I have yet to get a part ordered. They have ignored emails and voicemails. They sent me to talk to the manufacture company who in return told me to talk to Briggs. Briggs gave me a part number I needed while the manufacturer told me that was not a real item number. Needless to say it’s been ongoing frustration."
"We purchased our very first home and decided to come to Briggs to get a new tub, shower fixtures, vanity, and lighting. We came to Briggs bc they have a more unique selection than you can find at your local hardware store. Unfortunately if your not coming in to this store, by appointment to spend thousands then you will find yourself yourself being treated like your business is not welcome, like in the movie Pretty Woman. Store sales associates are not very friendly and you will be hard pressed to be greeted or told a simple thank you for your purchase. And I highly doubt that if your not doing a super expensive remodel with them you have a very good customer service experience and will leave feeling like your business was unwanted. Just my experience from purchasing from them, next time I will just shop online."
"We were building a home and the staff and service was the worst I have ever experienced. They were absolutely no help. Wasted a ton of our time and made us feel like any question we had was more than inconvenient. They did not post any prices and we were trying to stay within a generous budget. Each time we asked about pricing they had no answer. They said they would have to look it up, but never did. Sorry for asking and we never will again. And we hope more people shop somewhere that the customers are treated like more than an inconvenience! Briggs was the only negative experience for us throughout the building process other than Consolidated Kitchen and Fireplace (CKF). Avoid!"
