"Do not have this place do audio on your car. I had an incompetent worker do a guess job on my Challenger. He did not know what parts he needed or how to properly do the job, practically almost destroying things. I will never in my life have Best Best ever touch my vehicle again! Taking it to Auto Toys to get it done properly. The guy they have working in the audio department right now is not a professional. He's doing a hack job on stuff!"
"It's more like a 2.5 star. The product selection for laptops was minimal, in the 3 separate occasions that I have searched there. Only 1 of the 3 visits was I approached or easily able to find help for my area. In between these visits, my husband applied for an online application for payments on a $2800 laptop. We had difficulties navigating through this process when we were under the impression from the store conversation that this was a short and easy process. Returning to the store, we asked to follow up on our application. Being directed to reapply, we got flagged in the system for a double application. After this, is when we returned the for the 3 visits to consider an outright purchase. We could not find the precious computer we had picked out on the shelves and wanted to inquire more knowledge on if it was still possible to purchase. We were unable to find an available person to help. At this point in the process, we were uninterested in pursuing this further. This, however, has not deterred us from this store entirely"
"I have total tech support and have been trying to make an appointment at the Coralville Iowa Best Buy so that I can make an appointment to take my printer for repair. It is an HP, brand new and was bought at Best Buy. Having talked to HP, it was recommended to take it to Geek Squad for assistance as I also have a three year warranty and HP will send a new one if it can not be fixed. Unfortunately after several efforts, and having been switched from one overseas agent to another without being connected to someone at this location, I give up and am very disappointed for such poor quality phone response."
"I am changing this review from a 5 to a 1. I used to love this place and how well everything was done and quickly. I recently had a coworker who had a terrible time trying to figure out if his Auto order was completed. No one helped and you can't call anyone anymore due to the stupid phone tree crap. When I used to work here we did things with the customer in mind. What happened to that?"
"Very difficult to get an actual live person on the phone. Also, it's not very friendly or knowledgeable if you are needing account or billing information. I purchased a 50 inch flat screen TV, and when I received it, the screen was shattered. Upon calling, they sent a replacement and printable prepaid return label to my email. This label did not include the cost of return delivery pickup, so I called them again and was assured that they take care of the shipping and provided another label. Again when I attempted to schedule pickup, I was told that I would be charged for the pickup. I would LOVE to know who can fit a 50 inch TV in the back seat of a midsized sedan!! I am STILL waiting for confirmation that Best Buy has taken care of this issue! I purchased this on the 1st of June, and after several attempts to get them to setup the actual pickup and return, it was FINALLY picked up on June 23!"
