"This is an excellent course. Located right in Des Moines. First of all there's a sign at every hole showing you the location of the pin and distance. My favorite part was they had a sign pointing to where the next hole was located beneath every basket so it was almost impossible to get lost. It had varied terrain. Some holes are in the woods while others were wide open or running along the side of the river. I also enjoyed the fact that the course was not all that hilly"
"Great set up with up hills and down hills, creek, Des Moines river and park but no bathroom. Hole #5 uphill is a rough and cant see the basket from the starting pad. Hole #7&8 are very challenging also. I love the hole #13 with 718? feet away. A slim chance to lose the disc in the creek or in the wood but look out for those holes that are near the Des Moines river! I had a great time there."
"Really fun course. It is pretty tight to long grass and forest. You might lose some disks after mid May when the undergrowth is thick. Also I would bring bug spray."
"Cool course, right in middle of town that I never knew was there. Saw a Beaver that was not shy at all, let us get real close. Also, really cool layout of a course that was not too long or stretched out, good for hot humid days because of lots of shaded holes."
