"The loaded baked potato is a meal of its own and very good! The steak needs more flavor. We wish one of us had ordered the loaded baked potato for our side, and the other had ordered broccoli or asparagus for a side and shared."
"Look through my reviews; I don’t leave bad/negative reviews. But what we experienced at the CB Longhorn is completely inexcusable. My wife ordered a 9oz filet mignon, medium well. What our server brought to the table was NOT a filet mignon (see photo). When we requested a manager, she insisted that what we were looking at was indeed a Longhorn 9oz filet. However, having worked as a cook (many years ago:-) and as we had frequented the Longhorn several times prior, also ordering their filet, as well as countless other steak houses, it was obvious with 100% certainty that this was not a filet. In fact, after looking closer and comparing to other steaks, I would be willing to bet that what they served was nothing more than a sirloin. Yet, the manager continued to insist that the cooks confirm that because they mark all of their steaks with “skewers” to identity what cut of steak they are cooking and serving, what we were served was a filet. So I guess I would question how knowledgeable the Longhorn’s cooks are when it comes to steaks??? I mean, it is supposed to be a steak restaurant, correct? And what about the servers and managers? In addition, I was given a filthy, disgusting food crusted fork, and my Outlaw ribeye was tough to cut with a steak knife and to chew. Luckily, there are other steak houses, both in Council Bluffs & Omaha. If I owned this franchise, I would take the time to stop in and see who’s running the ship."
"When we went in yesterday the hostess who sat us was very rude and said nothing to us when she sat us and just had an attitude when we asked for a booth. Then when our server came over she sat down our menus and said nothing welcoming at all she just stared at us and asked for our drinks with an attitude. After we got our drinks and bread she didn’t come back to our table for awhile we had to ask another server for more bread that delivered us our food. Not only until the end of our service when we were done eating that’s when our waitress finally asked us if she could get us anything else. This is poor service on their end, I get having a bad day but to take it out on the customers is ridiculous! Usually the service here is great but maybe next time if we have a bigger table with more people we’ll be tended to more without an attitude!"
"Rather busy and loud, stuck to my headphones but that's good for buisness! Maybe invest in noise Dampening wall decor? Food was amazing, best steak I've had in years. Above and beyond. Service was wonderful, obviously busy but still polite and courteous. I like this restaurant, very happy dining here."
"I got the 6oz filet with a lobster tail, loaded baked potato, and a cesar salad to start with. The filet was nice and tender, same with the lobster tail!"
