"The only reason I give 4 stars for service is because I think it's silly having workers walking up to vehicles to take orders. I could see if it were every other vehicle, but they don't even use the regular menu at that point, and there ends up being a gap between vehicles. I'm sure this is a corporate move, but it seems like it could use improvement. Otherwise, the food is always great, and I'm typically greeted with a "it's our pleasure" whether authentic or not."

"Worst experience at a CF. Chicken soup, which is normally good, was loaded with pepper and had to throw away. Mushy grilled chicken pieces that I had to eat with my fingers because they forgot to give me a fork. Along with that, they forgot my napkins and a straw for my drink. The fruit was really good. Not a great location."

"The crew members and assistant manager failed to meet the mission and values of the franchise by serving undercooked chicken. Then force a customer into a refund or to choose another option off the menu. Per this customer, this store lacked empathy, service, and professionalism. May all other customers experience better service."

"The food is good, the lemonade is famous. I'm not sure if it's an Ankeny thing or not, but it seems like when I come in there late evenings, the younger employees have friends hanging out, and it can be a louder atmosphere. Otherwise, the day crew is fabulous at their job."
