Everything has gone downhill with Swanson since the origunal owner sold the company"

"On multiple occasions, i've ordered raw honey from these folks, only to have it show up in broken jars due to poor packaging. The first time, they shipped new jars... Recently, however, I've received quick email responses, but no replacement product, despite having sent pics of the damaged goods. They then have the gall to ask me to review their customer service? I'm done."

"I recently lost my source for a bar soap I've been getting for years. Ended up purchasing from Walmart online, but the soaps were packaged in a plastic bag with no padding - bubbles, foam, not even some paper. Consequently, every single one of the 6 bars I purchased arrived heavily damaged. I next tried ordering from Swanson, only to receive exactly the same thing. It turns out that Swanson is just another front for Walmart (look it up). In any case, all bars arrived broken once again. I emailed them about the issue but in the resulting correspondence they never once acknowledged the problem or suggested any intention to improve the procedure. To make matters worse, they solicit reviews but remove those which "mention shipping complaints" or "direct business away", making public feedback impossible and reparations unlikely. I don't recommend buying from "Swanson". At least, not anything breakable."

"I love Swanson products but like one customer on here, their shipping g can be a real pill. I have been a customer for at least ten years. When they got their Reno facility I thought shipping g would be easier and faster as advertised, as I live 60 miles north of Reno. Nope. Tracking shows they send out via Fed ex or UPS. From Reno to Sacramento. Back to Reno and then up to my post office. ( I am rural, no home delivery, even UPS quit coming out). Ups or FedEx transfers my package to my post office. Then I am good. but it takes a week and a half for that side trip to Sacramento first. I have complained to Swanson's, I have complained to UPS and FedEx. Nothing changes. No one will " own" this problem."

"I placed an order online using Paypal. Swanson should have shipped it to my registered Paypal address but instead shipped to another address. Two weeks later the tracking shows my package made a round trip back to Swanson. When I complained to them that they did not ship to my Paypal address they blamed me. They said I should have noticed they were shipping to the wrong address. My fault? When the order was returned to Swanson I contacted them to find out what they were doing with my order but they didn't respond. I had to file a dispute with PayPal to get my money back Check reviews on Yelp for this company. There are a lot of complaints there. I should have read them before spending"
