"I just arrived at the address for Hurricane Tax (HT). The name on the suite reads "Tax Relief Helpers" not Hurricane Tax. The person who welcomed me into the office acted as if she was not aware of HT. I'm glad I paid the bank fee in order to not get screwed out of more money. Run the other way!"

"I had to pay these people and all they did was lie to me about my taxes. I just lift the IRS. There is no paperwork saying that if I file my taxes for the next five years I will be cleared of my $8,756.00 I own them. The young man told me they don't do stuff like that. I'm call me a lawyer."

I payed $3800 over 3 years ago and haven’t received any progress updates or even any communication unless it’s me doing the communicating. Over 3 different people have been reassigned to my case and it’s still the same song and dance every year that they actually answer my call or email. Good for the people who actually had a positive outcome with this company but also read and don’t ignore the bad reviews as well."

"I wish we could give 0 stars. They billed for "services" rendered more than three years ago. Even considering the pandemic, they have been of NO help: lost/late paperwork, little to no follow-through and no follow-up. No "relief" from the IRS. We've had to hunt them down; no answers to calls or emails. There has been more than five people assigned to "help", and still no resolution. Now the IRS is coming back. The only upside is they didn't keep billing after the originally contracted amount. We do NOT recommend them. As another reviewer noted, I believe they scammed us out of money."
