"When I was getting an estimate for the move, I felt forced to guess how many boxes my apartment could fit in in order to get the quote. I told the salesperson I wasn't done packing so I really didn't know. When my guess was not accurate enough, my estimate became double on the day of the move. In the initial phone call with the salesperson, I was told they were waiving the stair fee, but upon pickup, that was added back on because the drivers were not aware that it was waived in the quote. But everything was discussed over the phone, so there's nothing anywhere that says he actually waived it, just word of mouth from the salesman to myself. The pickup lead driver explained to me they outsource their movers and that was the only way the outsourced employee got paid. He seemed irritated that I paid the company directly for this stair fee and that it was not given in cash so he could pay this outsourced mover outright. I was told my items would come within 10 days by the salesperson a few times when he explained the process to me. They loaded my things up on the 1/12 and didn't deliver till the 1/29- which is 17 days later. The movers didn't reach out to me to give me ANY kind of indication of an ETA for delivery. I had to email them first asking where my stuff was. Then dispatch finally called to tell me it'll be there on the 28th at the latest. Great, I made my Sunday completely free and waited and waited... no one came, no one called and I couldn't get a hold of dispatch because it was Sunday and I couldn't get a hold of the delivery driver because I was never given his number. So all I could do was wait. Monday morning, the driver texts me at 7am that they will be delivering at 10am, but I needed to take my mom in for her cancer treatment. So I texted him that I couldn't do that time because he was supposed to be there yesterday and didn't communicate at all about when he planned on showing up. So now I have to contend with these mover's arrival and figuring out an emergency ride for my mom so she can make her appointment because she is disabled and unable to drive herself. I finally DID get a hold of dispatch, explained my situation and was told that in this case- they would put my things in storage, charge me for that storage and deliver another day. WHAT? This is just really poor compassion within your communication and customer service. It made this whole experience even more hectic and exhausting. When I texted the drop off driver for contacting me a day late, he didn't apologize or give reason for the 24 hour tardiness. He just asked if someone else would be home. No, first of all, you were delivering to a storage unit, not a home and I was clear about this. Also, my mom and I live alone and I needed to take her in for her cancer treatment appointment. It was your driver's responsibility to be here 1/28 as planned. Yet, no call no show on 1/28 and then I'm expected to move my mom's cancer treatment around for you OR the other only option I was given was to pay more if I don't comply. Wow, you guys. I can't move cancer treatments around you. This was so unprofessional and uncaring. I was really let down by how you all handled this. I feel like the extra $175 at the very least should be returned, as the $75 stair fee upon pickup was supposed to be waived and then the delivery driver charged me an extra $100 to take an elevator? This was never mentioned as an additional cost to me before. Nor was I ever given an updated BOL which had that stated like I had asked for multiple times!! I complied with you guys because this was an extremely stressful move to care for my disabled mother. I paid what you asked for when you asked for it even though these little things were added on the fly and my quote was doubled on the spot, putting me in an odd place- just so I could be done with it because you left me SO stressed out."

"DO NOT use this company. Awful communication and every single piece of furniture was damaged, all my boxes smashed up, and my daughter’s bed was damaged beyond use. There were pieces of our furniture on the side walk from the dragging everything. They were also extremely rude. Worst company ever"
