"This location in particular seems to put way less meat in the entrees. For the price of the sandwich I should not have multiple bites with no chicken, or chicken that is barely filling the bottom of the bun. Ever since it went to the proportioned bags it has gone way down hill for a $10sandwich, that doesn’t even include sides."

"Came in at 8:15pm on a Tuesday and were the only ones there. Food handling was extremely questionable..with one employee handling all the raw meat, vegetables, fridge doors, and mopping the floor without changing gloves, all just while we were standing in line. Including reaching into the raw vegetable bins with the same gloves he had on when he was mopping the back and came out to help us, and after opening the fridge with the same gloves to get the pork. later on a different employee assembled our sandwiches off the grill and then accepted payments also without ever changing gloves. So did we still eat it? Yes, though with more than a little fear. I was just hoping that the food being cooked on the grill would undo all the cross contamination (though it wasn't on the grill for too long). Thankfully we are two weeks out now and we didn't get sick. Even though the food was good (though a little pricey) I can't see myself going back. It makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it."

"Me and my wife came in tonight and honestly had a great experience. The customer service and friendliness of the staff here were exceptional. We were helped my Joe and Myitia (sorry if it’s not spelled correctly), who were a pleasure to have come in contact with. Very friendly staff the only thing is that it could be cleaned a little better the floor is very slick I almost fell but other than that I recommend stopping by!"

"I've been to PepperJax in the Old Market about five times. Today I stopped in for a Steak Bowl. The cook seemed to get a bit confused when I asked for no onions and then proceeded to put way too many peppers in the mix. When I sat down and began eating my first bite was all peppers. it was way too hot and overpower the flavor of the dish. I do like a little bit of spicy Heat but this was extreme. I picked thru and removed all the peppers and it turned out to be quite tasty. An observation I noticed the employee demographics are quite different here than the west Omaha location. Here it seems to mainly men with long hair and beards. With the food preparers having so much hair I was a bit concerned about the cleanliness of my food. Anyway. Overall it was a good lunch meal.
