Pearl Factory - Hawaii's Original Pearl-In-The-Oyster

"Excalibur pearl factory. Kimberly was the one who helped us she was very kind and patient while my son picked something out to mount his pearl. I picked up a ring for mine was told to wait 24 hours to use which I did as soon as I got back from my trip to Canada the next evening I put the ring on and the pearl fell off. Disappointed waste of money and the jewelry is very expensive. Don't recommend Kim gets the 2 stars outstanding customer service."

"The woman was more interested in up-selling us than finding out what we were interested in. She drilled holes before asking if we wanted to put the pearls in jewelry. Then she charged all 3 of our pearls to one person even though we were obviously separate and suggested we send that person the money so she didn't have to refund and properly charge us. It took a good 45 minutes for us to pick and pay for 4 pearls."

"My three girlfriends and I all went here to get pearls. Once we got home and could open our rings after waiting for the glue to set, we discovered that two of our rings were glued wrong and off center and on my ring there was tons of additional glue left on the ring. In addition both my friend and I received each other's rings and had to exchange with each other. Customer service offered to fix them but did not offer any kind of refund. It's also been over 3 weeks and I have not received my ring back. This experience is not worth it."

"What an experience, we were blessed with Rosina as our guide the two girls in our group through their ceremony of searching for the pearls. I am so grateful that she explains the way that they harvest the oysters and they wait until they have passed naturally, so they are not killing the oysters to simply harvest the pearls. This a great little experience if you should feel inclined to shuck an oyster."

"3 years ago I had the Pearl Factory experience in Hawaii, It was great. I hoped my daughter could have the same experience while in Vegas. I should have known better. Apparently Vegas has lower standards and the workers are not trained the same. This was 1 of 2 locations in Vegas we visited. The Asian lady we had assist us was very pushy and rushed us. Nothing was said in the way of care for the pearl.. Though she was nice it felt like sales are her thing, commission based job perhaps!? We spent about $120 for 4 oysters, a cage and a cheap chain (the quality of the chains has gone down since the last time I purchased from a Pearl Factory). Cages should come with a chain IMO. There's a new pineapple cage $75, Pearl Factory what are you smoking!? That's way too expensive for what it is, all of the cages are too expensive to be honest but that took the cake. $75 with chain AND opening a pearl... then yes. I would not return to this location because it's just not the experience it should be. Hawaii was much better."
