"Truly wish I would’ve had the chance to do my taxes with Desiree again. She did my taxes for me for year 2020 and the service was amazing! She’s patient and KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING!!! However, this year for some reason I had an appointment with Celeste. I went ahead and gave her a try because I was in need of getting them done and desiree was helping someone else when I arrived. Celeste was not knowledgeable about the process for 2022. I truly think she did my taxes incorrectly and will probably receive a late return as a result. She mentioned I needed a form on my second visit pertaining to the child tax credits we received. I had already explained to her during my first visit when I originally started to file my taxes that I may not even receive my W2s because my mail forwarding had gotten messed up during my move and I don’t receive any mail. Did not end up receiving my W2s but was able to retrieve them from online portal. Finalized my taxes during my second visit and she ask for the form sent about the child tax credits. I once again explain to her that I don’t get mail forwarded to my new address due to an error from the post office and don’t have the form. She then tells me “oh you’ll need that to complete you return or it could cause your return to be delayed.” After already starting the process and agreeing to pay the $500 for the services she decided to let me know I need the form to complete my return. She says they need the form to show proof of the payments received. I’m sitting there stressed trying to figure out how I’ll be able to get this. I ask her if there’s any other way to show proof of the payments received and she says no. After some digging, I sign into the IRS portal and was able to pull up all the payments and amounts deposited for the child tax credit. She had no knowledge this information was available directly on the IRS website. Which tells me she didn’t educate herself throughly before doing everyone’s taxes to find out what is available on the irs site. How do you do taxes every day and don’t make yourself familiar with what is available on the IRS website? I was able to print out the payments form and attach it to my return. I also asked her about the credits and sinuous’ since I had a new child in the beginning of 2021. She was very unclear about if I would receive any additional money and where it was reflected in my return. First she said i would possibly get it once the irs reviews my return then she stated it was already reflected on my return. After leaving I did some more research and saw I could be eligible for $5000 total for that child, which is not reflected on my return. Almost positive she made an error with my return so now I sit and wait to see. Celeste just seemed very uneducated about the process. Desiree however is great so if you book at this location book with her. She’s knowledgeable, she takes her time and she gives you all the information you need. She’s worth what they charge but I can’t say the same about Celeste"
