"My kids attend the hip-hop, cheer, and arts and crafts. They love their dance and cheer class, the coaches are energetic and patient. They loved attending the Arts and crafts class too until the second class, my eldest daughter unfortunately has diagnosed asthma since the age of two, every change of season exasperates her lungs and more often than not she’ll have a croup-like deep cough that lasts for weeks, anyone with experience with asthma understands that its not contagious, but I do understand that it makes people uncomfortable so I carry masks with me and have her use them just to put people at ease. Apparently that’s not enough for Miss Molly for the 4:45-5:45 arts and crafts at this location. Half way though the second class my eldest came out to sit next to me and said “I just wanna sit with you” I later found out that the adult- Molly made my daughter extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable, told my 7 yr old that she’s pregnant and can’t get sick and made her and her sister sit apart from the rest of the kids. Without my knowledge SHE told my 6 & 7 year old that they are NOT allowed to attend the next class if they have a cough. I found THAT out on the third class when I again with my masked child, brought my two very excited kids to do arts and crafts, for them to be told they were not allowed to participate because of my eldest’s cough. I was MOST livid about the fact that she told MY KIDS without my knowledge, anyone that has any sense would have addressed the parent NOT THE CHILD. It was just my eldest that had a cough and she HAD A MASK ON. I explained to the coordinator that my daughter has diagnosed asthma, AND was masked. Her answer was “it’s up to the instructors best discretion” to discriminate against medical issues?? Because that’s exactly what she did! At least if you’re going to hire instructors to head up your classes they shouldn’t be a little more than ignorant, I HIGHLY encourage Molly to find another job that ISNT working with young children because CLEARLY she lacks the decorum, the knowledge, or the professionalism to do so."
"Thanks for having us We in enjoyed our time with you guys, good night."
"I go to the pool to relax, not deal with petty nonsense. A heavyset black woman in the rec center bothered me at the water fountain while I'm having heat exhaustion, to say I need a top on to be there; I obviously came from the pool and had a bathing suit and pants on. That's effectively a top, which I wore there. Will speak to Cass Palmer and avoid this location, cause I don't need this aggravation over trying to grab some cold water."
