"Understandably, the atmosphere is pretty somber and heavy. If you’re visiting with children I’d recommend talking to them first and giving them age-appropriate/maturity level-based explanations of what they’re going to see and hear."

"What a great location and tour if you are here in Hawaii. This will bring tears to your eyes. Great location also to get the real hard facts about the war and December 7th. "Definitely a must see, the memorial is phenomenal and the whole set up....is very descriptive and informative of the times and situations that led up to 12/7/41. Cell phones must be put on silent, and the ferry leaves every 15 minutes to take people to and from the memorial site. Very educational and a nice time."

As I toured this Memorial, it moved me in way that makes me appreciate the lost lives more in a way that I have never felt before.
