Sea Quest Hawai‘i

"Spectacular experience. I did a lot of research before selecting Sea Quest for our night manta experience. The crew was extremely organized, safety oriented and efficient. We had around 15 mantas dancing below us feeding on the plankton and even coming right up on us. It was magical!! I felt very safe floating in the ocean at night the way it was set up. The crew offered tons of information about Mantas. The experience exceeded my expectations. If I were to do it again I’d go with Sea Quest again, only wear a warmer wetsuit. I chose to bring my own suit which was a 2/3 shorty and I would have preferred to be warmer. I was the only one that got cold so that’s just personal preference and I used my own suit. It was late March for reference. SQ rocked!"

"We had a great night manta ray tour with Sea Quest. We booked very last-minute after our original tour was cancelled with another tour company because of a rare swell that made leaving from their harbor unsafe. It was our last night in Kona and we didn’t want to miss this experience - Sea Quest was able to book us two hours before the tour! The tour itself was great - super well organized, great team, nice gear. They were especially helpful when the youngest member of our party got scared - they did a great job calming her down and then, after she had seen some rays, taking her back to the boat. They also helped out when one of our party got a little seasick at the end of the tour. Overall a great experience and I couldn’t recommend them more!"

"The experience was amazing. Captain Kevin was very informative and knowledgeable and an overall nice guy. He stopped the boat multiple times to let us see whales and dolphins. We visited 3 different snorkeling spots, which were all marvelous. We saw many different types of fish and multiple turtles. We were also provided with high-quality snorkeling equipment. The lunch and snacks were delicious."

"Did the manta rays night snorkeling and it was amazing! So many mantas is exceeding any possible expectations. One of our guides was talking the entire time with amazing facts and information on the mantas, island and local area. Fantastic experience not to be missed Edit: went back today and did the 4.5 hour snorkling cruise with capitain Lauren. Absolutely brilliant time, had lunch watching a pod of dophins play around in the bay. The snorkling locations were premium."

"This was easily the best and most extensive snorkeling experience I’ve ever had. Our tour guide was very interactive and informative. I believe our tour was about 4 hours long, and they took us to 3 different snorkeling locations, each with a variety of marine life. We saw whales on our way to one of the locations, and the tour guide stopped the boat to teach us about them. They also provided a book with the most common marine life in the area so that you could identify what you saw and learn interesting facts. They assigned us a specific snorkel by number, so we were not having to share used ones. On route to each destination, they held our snorkels for us. The lunch was also a highlight. They had authentic Hawaii drinks and a variety of sandwiches/salads to choose from. They also provided us a variety of local fruit to eat. Overall, this was a very memorable experience and something I will recommend to anyone visiting the island."
