"Had an AirBNB unit here. The hot tub didn't work as advertised. There was no one from staff accessible to ask questions from. The damaged to the desk I the exterior of the buying was extensive , many with caution tape on them. I choose to leave the visit after one night."
"Excellent place to be and enjoy the snow, you feel at home, it is comfortable and comfortable."
"It has a Jacuzzi And a pool"
"I love how each unit has their own unique design. We stayed in the John Wayne Condo."
"Our trip to Mammoth this year was ruined by the lack of hot water in our Unit #226. We were hot water-less for two full days and it was super inconvenient. We had no trouble at the place we stayed last year, so please avoid Krystal Villa East. It's close to a lot of places like Vons and Rite Aid, but I'd rather have hot water and drive a little further than stay here again. After calling the manager and explaining our problem, he said he would being in a plumber the next morning. We cleaned ourselves the old fashioned way by boiling water that night. It was time consuming and beyond inconvenient. That morning, the plumber tore up the wall in the downstairs bathroom and left. He left the mess of the torn down wall on the floor around the toilet (WTF?). The second night, the hot water worked long enough for one shower and then turned ice cold afterwards. I've never had to take such a cold shower before! I didn't realize that the water was not heating up until after I had put shampoo in my hair. We called the owner finally and the owner called the manager. The manager was rude to us because we complained to the owner. We finally had hot water our last and final night in #226. The price we paid here was cheaper than other places and had more beds, but honestly the hot water situation just ruined our vacation. Other things I did not like about our stay at Krystal Villa East was that there was a teensy tiny Jacuzzi only big enough to fit about five people comfortably and they did not have a community shower. Previous places I've been to could fit at least ten people! We weren't provided with free wifi or cable. There were a few DVDs but that's it. Our unit #226 had dirty carpet and I found several empty used Caprisun pouches in the nightstand drawers. Gross! Bottom line is: DON'T STAY HERE! You'll be forced to boil hot water for baths if your unit has no hot water. You'll also get hypothermia washing dishes in ice cold water."
