"UNIT 36H - It is NOT the “Three bedroom holiday home” as advertised! During our January 21-25, 2024 stay we discovered serious bare electrical wiring infractions; broken & illegal wall sockets. Exposed electrical contacts on a wall and baseboard electrical boxes; one has NO faceplate cover and another is smashed apart; exposed wiring and contacts are visible. It looks like a Romex electrical supply line was illegally dropped down from the ceiling near their fireplace in a very unwise, unsafe manner. Similar questionable drop down power line for their ceiling mounted TV are not up to code. Turning on the light in the 3rd "bedroom" tripped the breaker. 3rd bedroom is a converted, low ceiling, upper storage area with a bed tossed in. Unit 36H is being promoted as a “Three bedroom holiday home”; It's 2 bedroom CONDO with a converted room with a bed. Other dangerous issues: Low hanging & protruding wall mount TV extends into walking area. The TV is mounted very low and extends into the living room walkway; a perfect height for being injured of blinded. I’m 5 foot 11 inches tall and I gouged my scalp on the sharp edge corner. Missing, damaged and/or unacceptable Condo amenities: There are NO entertainment devices such as cable TV, NO local TV channels, NO stereo, radio, CD player in a condo being promoted as a “Three bedroom holiday home”. A “holiday home” that is really a condo. A “holiday condo” that lacks basic entertainment amenities; bed sheets for curtains and dangerous electrical wiring! There was no "free coffee" as promised in their rental listing. Condo Unit 36H is substandard and is NOT as advertised. Unit 36H is rougher & more dangerous than a Motel 6 room. Their spa area was missing an exit door knob, Immediately reported to Sierra Park Villas and their booking agent (Abgoda) it took more than a month to get a reply. We paid $1381.90 for our stay. I had asked for a PARTIAL refund."

"If you’re using the hot tub do not put your belongings inside. The door will be locked at exactly 2200 and you will not be able to grab you belongings. I had to walk to my room with just shorts and a towel in a 19 degree weather. I knocked for multiple minutes with no response."

"In terms of location, quality of service, price range, and the cabins themselves, Sierra Park Villas are the best place that I have stayed at in Mammoth. We had a great experience and everything was in perfectly working order. Going to stay here again during our next visit to mammoth for sure."
