Reviews
"I recently stayed with a friend at Snow Creek. The condo was perfect, fully equipped, with private and public spaces that suited us exactly. I highly recommend them. Rates were reasonable and the environment is charming. And there were ducks in the pond!"
"Have been to Mammoth and stayed at many different places from 8150 to sleeping in the parking lot in front of the post office and everywhere in between. We have found that snow creek is really a great fit. It is close enough to the market to walk. Close to the bus to get up onto the mountain. The parking lots are plowed quickly and access is manageable comparatively when the blizzards roll though when compared to staying up on the mountain. We have stayed in several different condos at snow creek. The following is in regards to 39 Sunshine. Pros: on the first floor. easy to get in and out of. Has everything to make it work. Nice view out of the slider to see mountains. They allow dogs! Cons: The pellet stove didn't work. The wall heater made a rumbling noise akin to the sound of a drying machine. The wall heater thermostat was bad at regulating the temperature. Either would let it get too cold or would heat up too much. The floor heaters were left at 68 degrees. However the one in the bedroom made a noise that kind of sounds like the tag on a dog collar. The hot water heater could only handle one bath. Also think the fridge made a rumbling running sound. Basically the entire unit kind of needs to be updated. I got sick. I am still dealing with it. Pretty much just a cough, but it sucks getting sick on vacation. The only places in Mammoth I went to on this trip was the condo the mountain and the Vons parking lot. So pretty sure it had to be the condo as I first noticed my throat while I was on the mountain the next day after spending the night. The furniture is pretty dated and kind of had a grungy feel. Same with the carpet. There was a lot of snow fall recently so I am sure the condo has had a lot of use recently. I have had issues in the past with the custodial service not doing a thorough job. I have a 10 month old and my wife found a 'button battery' which could easily have been swallowed. Overall a very cute place good location, but wish it was cleaner and more updated (instant hot water heater?) and taken care of better. Seems like this unit gets a lot of use and is a been worn in and under managed. Take care,"
