"You have to pay to view. Lol, lets go test drive a car and pay/run a credit check to do so. All while the pictures of the homes look like they are run by unprofessional photographers They require a credit check prior to looking at the listing (this is crazy and bad for your credit). The pictures of the sites are sub par and I would suggest to look else. A waste of time and shows why their listings are available for longer times."
"As a home owner I have used Reno Rental Finders for over 15 years. They find excellent candidates for my rental properties and I have never had a bad experience with Reno Rental Finders nor with the tenants that they find for my properties. If you are a property owner and I’m looking for someone to do background checks and show your properties at a reasonable fee then the rental rental finders is the place for you. Thank you for having the service for the Reno area"
"Got denied because I don't make 3x the rent they required.... Which is so out of touch from reality that I don't know how this business is still operating. They also can't do basic math. Claimed I only made 40% of 3x the rent. Ok, so $750 x3 is $2,250. I make around $1,900 per month..... That's not %40, guys. That's actually a completely acceptable amount of money per month to sign somebody up for a property that you've had zero requests for in weeks and had to lower the price of rent multiple times due to lack of interest. An employee told me this themselves over the phone. Have fun having to continually lower the price until somebody finally bites. Which might be awhile due to Reno Rentals room temperature IQs. Terrible business."
"My husband and i found an amazing property to apply for out in Wingfield. The property came across my notifications on Saturday, in which this company is closed. I reached out with contact info and wanting to submit an application. Very eager to get the ball moving i called monday mornimg 2 hours after they've been open. The receptionist only said hello, she did not say the company's name. As i was giving a mini back story i started asking questions on said property we were interested in and how to get in an application. Mind you we hadn't EVER used an agency like this before. The lady was very short and rude. She acted like i was dumb for not knowing where to apply and dumb for not knowing that once applying my application is good for any house for 30 days. In addition we are moving from Colorado. My husband and i have steady incomes but that doesnt seem to matter. The no name receptionist said it is against their policy to have applicants without local incomes. ( i understand this to a point, how ever this company will lose business if not willing to work with out of staters). Mind you i was born and raised in reno, went to spanish springs high, Spanish spring elementary. I work in the hospitality field ive been at this for 11years. This was nothing short of a terrible interaction which will lead me to never working with this company in the future. Very disappointed in my fellow "battleborn". Even if you are having a bad day, especially over the phone you have no idea what other people are dealing with thank you for a crap morning. I hope your day gets better."
"The 2 star average reviews do not surprise me. The whole thing felt like a scam and not to mention a huge waste of time. Luannda showed me a nice apartment I was interested in at the montage and didn't even know the credit score requirement or the "no co-signers" policy associated with it and I had to remind her of that when she mentioned I could have a co-signer. She then later told me on the phone she was in close contact with the owner, seems odd to not know the policies the owner has yet know the owner so well. If she had listened to anything I told her during the showings I could have avoided the $35 application fee all together because she could have told me if I had qualified or not then and there. Jessica seemed very short with me over the email and I even requested someone else to work with because she seemed so bothered to have to work with me. I offered 12 months in advance payment for the 12 month lease to which the owner agreed but then they told me if I broke any rules at the montage that I would forfeit the entire payment yet when I asked where that was in the rules and or lease they couldn't show me. Why would a renter have to forfeit 12 months of rent pre-paid in advance for months they didn't live in an apartment in case they for some reason were not in alignment with some rules? I will definitely try and avoid them if possible while I continue my search for a nice apartment. Very inconsistent information and felt like a scam to get the application fee since they do as little work as possible and don't even know the policies on their own rentals."
