"Must start out with noting the very limited parking. SUVs will fare much better than sedans. Google maps originally brought us to a gate marked as private road. Looking at the map again, the best way to get to this beach is on Ke'Ei road. The road was drivable with a sedan when we went, just drive very carefully and make sure you watch for pull off spots when there are vehicles leaving this one lane road. You'll have to park a little way away from the beach entrance and then walk a few minutes on Ke'Ei Rd past some residential property. We saw signage (while we were there) to help you know where private property is and the last point of where you can park. No restrooms. This beach has a sandy shore but mostly rocky waters. Water shoes are strongly recommended. Good for intermediate snorkeling as there are definitely sea urchins around, even close to shore. Do be extra careful here to not step on new coral growth and start your snorkeling within the first 5-10 feet of the shore. We saw a cleared lane in the water that a family with kids was using near the beginning of the beach that looked like it went out about 25 yards. There are a lot of fish and reef to see, watch for sea turtles but keep your distance! I very much enjoyed this harder to get to and local feeling beautiful beach."
"Amazing spot to jump in by the cliffs, or continue down to the sandy area for little kids and sunbathing"
"The road to the village is not easy for the car, but the sand beach is really nice and not crowded at all."
"Nice beach. Unmarked road in is a little bumpy. Still made it in a sedan. Worth the walk to the sand. Surf and boogie board area is plenty big."
"One of my favorite spots on the island. Very Limited parking maybe 10-15 spots. Very local feel and long offroad stretch I would be careful what car you're taking down all the way. But almost always only a few people and breakers are causing calm waters usually. With bigger surf right before the brakes further out."
