"What a wonderful little museum. Of the beaten track. Well laid out. Very informative. Nice to see the two gals creating the jewelry they were selling in the shop. Really enjoyed my visit.Free entry."
"If you know about gemstones, you'll see that this is quite an impressive collection esp given that there is no natural history museum in HI. The gift shop inside is also something else. If you look carefully, there are some impressive treasures at good price. Support local business and shop small. Recommended."
"What an inspiring example of "be the change you want to see" - this super-nice extended family saw there was a gap in the offerings of the natural history museums on the island (Bishop, BYU), so decided to share free access to their own collection of minerals, gems & carvings to (now two) generations of school kids & tourists alike! They also handcraft a wide range of jewelry. All in all, a nice break from the Waikiki tourist scrum!"
"Very beautiful sodalite and jade carvings, with a unique jewelry shop. A must see for handmade pearl jewelry."
