Reviews
"Designed by O'ahu-based artist Kim Duffett, the bronze sculpture of Don Ho shows Ho in the 1970s. This famous statue was created to convey his warmth, charisma and carefree aloha spirit. This 300 lb statue was unveiled Aug. 13, 2017, on what would have been Ho's 87th birthday. Donald Tai Loy Ho (August 13, 1930 – April 14, 2007) was a Hawaiian traditional pop musician, singer and entertainer. He is best known for the song "Tiny Bubbles" from the album of the same name."
"Stop and take a moment!"
"It’s an important person that did/does bring in tourism to Hawaii. Unfortunately, the people that do their market night, disrespect the memorial by hanging their merchandise on the statues hand and blocking the statue completely."
"You have not lived until you visit the Don Ho statue in Waikiki. Everyone should take a moment to pay homage to this great American."
