"While walking through Kapiolani Park, I happened to visit the ruins at the entrance to the Honolulu Zoo. “The place of loving remembrance” My heart was touched when I saw the sign saying it was a place with loving memories. Waikiki, a world-class resort that we enjoy visiting. However, for the native Hawaiians, this sandy area has been a playground and the residence of royal families for the past 2,000 years. When I saw the small plaque of the descendants of the 200 or so remains that were discovered during the development of Waikiki and were enshrined here, I thought that this was a place that could not be easily overlooked. There is also a statue of Gandhi right next to it."

"This monument is located on the ocean side of the Honolulu Zoo. It is well maintained and very clean."
