Reviews of Sunset Beach Park
"Breathtaking sunset always! Love to visit and hope to watch and see if any turtle will pop up. It's not a beach for swimming since this is one of the main spots for surfers and not recommended for swimming. There are many rocks and obstacles, looks like a challenging place for surfers to enjoy."
"Sunset Beach is nothing short of spectacular. We chose to end our day here with one goal in mind – to watch the sunset – and boy, was it worth it. As the sun began its descent, we found ourselves surrounded by others who had the same idea. Sunset Beach quickly transforms into a bustling spot as the sun’s warm hues start to paint the sky. Fortunately, finding parking wasn’t a major challenge for us, although it might depend on the day and time. We parked in an area within a park that conveniently offered restrooms. This spot was right across the street from the beach, making it incredibly convenient. On the beach itself, I noticed that lifeguards were on duty, which adds an extra layer of safety, always a plus. One thing to note is that there isn’t much natural shade on the beach, so it’s essential to bring a sturdy umbrella for relief from the sun. However, it’s the sunsets at Sunset Beach that steal the show. The views here are absolutely breathtaking, and I have zero regrets about choosing this spot to conclude our day. It was, without a doubt, a magical moment that I’ll treasure forever."
"This legendary North Shore beach offers a lengthy beautiful sandy beach, picnic area, parking, lifeguard services and positive vibes. Depending on the time of year the the ocean offers anything from pancake flat to mountainous monsters known around the world. Parking can be tight, especially when the surf is cracking. A true gem of a place."
"This was by far our favorite beach we went to! The sand was so soft and beautiful. The eaves were massive and therapeutic to sit by. There are life guards here since locals surf the waves. Close to some delicious food trucks. Highly recommend coming out here!"
