"Have you seen a waterfall? Great, you don’t need to come here. You’ll spend 30 mins trying to park in a VERY SMALL LIMITED SPACE only to get out and not a have a good view of the falls. Sure maybe you’ll want to walk on the unsanctioned trail but unless you’re in your 20s I promise you it’s not worth it nor can you do it without slipping."

"*CANNOT HIKE* Beautiful falls but you can’t do the hike anymore. Someone died here last year and there’s a massive fine for doing the hike now. Beautiful view from the road but no longer a trail."

"As others have said, parking can be challenging, the road is narrow and you can only legally view the falls from above, at an overlook, and that view is limited. Given all this, we went, did find parking quickly and spent a few minutes enjoying the beauty of it...but the pics we took will not be our best shots of Kauai."

"It's ok. Limited view, more than likely for safety. Very, very narrow roads close to the falls, so please be careful. A woman sold us some water, fresh confectioneries, and great advice. Looks like to get the great pics you need to hike some tretorious terrain."

"I read that it was only 6 miles from the cruise terminal, so I decided to walk. Please don’t do that. It was the longest walk ever and no shade all the way. But it was most definitely worth it. The trail to the actual falls were closed so we could only view from above."
