Reviews of Mini Falls
"If you go to kauai and you dint go here, you missed out. Most amazing place i have ever seen"
"Fun moderate hike with some great views. Can swim at the he falls."
"Hiked this a few years ago when it was raining. There was low visibility off the mountain. I hiked again with my wife and I didn't realize how much I was missing. The views off the side on the mountain are breathtaking. It puts into scale how large the mountain is and how small you are. Definitely plan to hike during a clear, sunny day if possible. A few clouds won't hurt, though. Hiking during/after rain will make the hike much harder. My wife and I came when the temp was 82 F but on the mountain it felt more like ~74. My wife was actually a little cold! We came prepared because others said to, but it wasn't necessary. A bottle of water per person and maybe some snacks is all you need. Hiking shoes are recommended but I saw people hike this in sandals. Unless you're very in shape, you be out of breath with all of the up-and-down hiking you'll be doing."
"Worth the hike. Takes about 2h back and forth if you take some breaks and time for pictures. The falls are beautiful, the view of the valley is amazing. The final descent to parts of the falls can be difficult to do however. I recommend you bring proper hiking boots and clothes you dont mind getting dirty. We were lucky that there was no recent rain so the terrain was dry and easy to navigate, but we heard if it rains or rained it can get very slippery and a lot more difficult."
"It was a good hike in, I wouldn't consider it easy for non hikers but more of a moderate hike with some steep inclines. When wet it is extremely slippery. Beautiful views."
