"IYSDC is a wonderful Iyengar Yoga studio with a wide variety of teachers and class levels for new and long-term practitioners alike. "I attended Silent Dance Centre six days a week with two classes a day. This is a superb place to study Iyengar yoga,; the calibre of instruction, the support of instructors and other students, the amount of props, and the long standing community of yogis would be very difficult to find else where. This is not a young crowd, rather a group of yogi devotees that started studying here in the 70's and have managed to create a very wonderul and exceptional place. I love it very much. Every class I attended I would learn something new and I would try as many instructors as I could so I could mazimize my learning. They are all good and very different so it is worth attending them all. To maximize benefits attend at least three classes a week. This is not flakey yoga rather serious learning with committed instructors that have studied for many years to get the training they have. I live in Hawaii part-time and plan on always being part of this community. If you are serious about yoga and want to add to a thriving community please join. Age is not an issue if you have a committed interest in this type of yoga. Everyone is helpful and kind. Novices that want to learn depth yoga will find a home here."
