"We stopped here on our drive to Hana. They do charge for parking I think $10. We paid cash not sure if they are able to do credit. It was raining and there was potential flooding so only the lower trail was open and not the top one. You do have to hike down (rocks/natural trail) to it and it can’t be slippery and it’s not accessible if you have a disability very easily. But once down is beautiful and relaxing. It also provides for a beautiful backdrop for pictures. I definitely suggest non-slip shoes that are OK to get wet/muddy if rainy. They have restrooms, but they are porta potties, and they have items for sale at the top parking lot."
"Incredible site when you’re in Maui. Would definitely recommend! It was super fun both for taking pictures and for swimming. The hikes are not hard at all and are very moderate. Some slight inclines and walking over rocks here and there. We saw some incredible waterfalls and had some very good pineapple and banana bread that they sell from a food truck. They do have plenty of parking for $10 per car but we do recommend arriving early to make sure you do get a spot since it’s popular. Even if you don’t want to swim it’s a great spot to stop on the Road to Hana. The place is incredibly beautiful and maintained. They have porta-potties and a food truck for banana bread, pineapple and honey. We stopped here like 2-3 times while in Maui."
"If you go and people are out there charging you to park, they are scamners. This was told to me by someone who said they were a local and gave us directions to the most scenic trail. If she lied, I apologize. If she told the truth, beware. Now, for the falls, they are beautiful. I'm a sucker for waterfalls, and this was beautiful. It was raining during our visit. It was wet and muddy. The trails are simple. You can get a good view at either 1. The greenery is as gorgeous as the falls."
"Twin Falls was the first place we stopped on the road to Hana. So glad we did, the falls were a short two minute walk from the car park. Even though it rained a lot and the days before we got there and the water was a little brown it was still super lovely to swim in the temperature was awesome. It was just fun to play around and it was great to cool off because it was pretty hot out. If you’re taking the road to Hana definitely stop here"
"Great family owned location. I love that they do a day a month just for residents so we can enjoy our own island. The hike to see the waterfalls is very easy. To get down to the bottom of the upper falls is very steep and then you have to climb back up. If you do not feel stable, I would not risk it. The lower falls is easy so head to that one. Also, they do not ask admission so please do tip!!"
