About the Business

The University of Hawaii Marine Center is located at Pier 35 in Honolulu Harbor and is responsible for coordinating operations and maintaining the R/V Kilo Moana, a state-of-the-art SWATH vessel. The center also operates the ROV Luʻukai, capable of diving to depths of 6000 meters. Facilities at the center include pier space, a machine shop, cranes, and storage facilities. Services provided include ship scheduling, provision of crew and technicians, engineering support, equipment coordination, and vessel chartering.
