"My pet never attended Laughing Dogs Daycare, but I believe my experience would be beneficial for dog owners to read before booking a screening. I reserved a screening appointment in August 2023, 2+ weeks in advance and spent $100+ at the vet to get my dog an updated bordetella vaccine (Laughing Dogs requires it's administered every 6 months vs. standard 1x/year). When I arrived, I was surprised to hear I was not permitted inside to see the facility "due to COVID". I asked if I could wear a mask or come back at a later time to see the facility – the answer was "no". I'm frustrated by the wasted time and money, but ultimately shocked that pet parents are expected to leave their dogs for hours, if not days, without stepping foot in the daycare. Maybe this isn't concerning to some people, but I personally was very uncomfortable with this and left. The staff throughout the process was friendly and helpful via phone and email, but I think they need to be upfront about the "no owners inside" policy to avoid wasting peoples' time and money."

"Had this place reach out to me on indeed about a job. One of those we’d like you to apply for this job recruitment ads. So I did. Was supposed to meet with Vicky but after setting up to come in tomorrow (a week ago) she calls today to tell me she’s not actually interested in hiring me. Had asked to see the facility but she never let me. Would be iffy about this shady new daycare. There are better options elsewhere. P.s. this place only pays their handlers $12/hr. Far from any type of living wage. Support businesses that actually pay their employees. If they don’t care enough to pay their employees fairly what makes you think they’ll care about your dog? Was only going to work this job for fun since I love dogs and used to work at a massive daycare facility on the mainland and my other job actually pays my bills since this position is laughable. I feel sorry for whoever she picked to work full time who will be living off that pittance. Dear Vicky, don’t call me in a week when your new person doesn’t work out. This has always been a business of high turnover since it’s riddled with low pay and lots of poop."

"My dog loves this place so much, she tries to break through the car window when we arrive at Laughing Dog Daycare . She absolutely adores Vicky. Vicky is so kind and patient with my rambunctious dog. I know it's the best decision I have ever made for my pets happiness . Thank you Laughing Dog ."

"My dog loves it! Such nice people and my dog thoroughly enjoys his time spent there and is tired for at least 2 days after! They also really take into careful consideration if they are the right fit for you and your dog and ensure their safety. A bit on the pricey side but a million times worth it!"
