"We were the winning bidder on this vehicle and were excited about it. We called to schedule pickup, ordered tires and wheels (as the 22" are not our style) and then were called and told " the owner picked up his vehicle" . Turns out the owner didn't like the price he sold it for and backed out, after the fact. Well I mounted new tires, on new wheels, and can't return them, so what about that? Why am I obligated to buy, but a no-reserve, online auction seller can renege on the sale? I even offered to pay more and negotiate with the seller, pay his "reserve" of $1700. but still not a response. I bid with the understanding that if I was the high bidder, I would own the car; not if I was high bidder, that I could be strong-armed into paying more. And what about tires and wheels that now I don't have a vehicle to put them on? Feel we really got shafted this time around. I expect more from Lightning."
