We started in-person on Maui, but have moved to FaceTime as I relocated to the mainland. We have a good rapport. Things are so much better for me now, I've learned and developed a lot. "Not to go too much into details, but the most unprofessional therapist I have encountered. We did phone appointments at times and I could hear her loudly opening the door to a microwave and hearing the microwave sounds the whole time her food was heating up and the alarm at the end. Rude. She was also asking me to send her a $7 dollar copay for each visit through Venmo (when in reality my insurance covered 100% of the cost). She is basically your narcissistic grandma giving you advice. She needs to lose her license."

"We talked briefly on the phone to set up an appointment for 4:30. A week later I get a cryptic message that said “5:15 please”. I messaged back “does this mean you’d like to reschedule?” To which she replied “yes” so already I was seeing red flags. Not at any time did she ask if I was doing ok. Then, the day of my appointment I was anxious all day. Finally I arrived at her building at my time. The directory confirmed her office number. But I circled twice around the floor and it was not there. While I was searching for her office she messaged me and said to text her when I was ready. I texted that I was here and asked where her office was. She then called me and said she had already left and was across town already. I confirmed our appt was at 5:15 and she agreed but said again that she had left already. She did offer to talk to me on the phone to which I replied “not if you’re driving”. She said she had pulled over. I told her there was nowhere private for me to talk and she suggested my car. Which was parked on the street. It’s over 85 degrees out. I told her I picked her bc I wanted an in person discussion. Especially for the first visit! At any time did she ever say this was a tele appointment. She gave me her office info so one is to assume that’s where we would be. She rescheduled but I’m never going back. She never once apologized or offered an explanation as to why she stood me up. It took everything in me to not break down then and there. Im grieving badly for my mom and this is how she treats me? One star is too many for her actions. So unprofessional and disrespectful."
