"We have spent a couple of weeks in a rental home within walking distance of Holualoa for each of the last two years. We really like it here. It's a quiet community with wonderful art galleries, a nice coffee shop or two, the local elementary school, a post office, and a few other businesses. It is just our speed. Once a month, on the first Friday evening of every month, there is an event called First Friday. There are bands, food booths, art galleries, and a general vibe of good will. We love it."
