"The office staff harasses students. Vice principal, riesha once let a student who attacked multiple return to school and did not call the police for assault. There are so many people vaping and doing drugs in the bathroom that you will feel intimidated. Multiple people have had their belongings stolen with no follow up from the office. students doing nothing wrong are framed and set up on social media. The office faculty control students outside lives and what they wish to do. According to them the students "represent kalaheo". No other high schools permit this wrongful actions. Students are scared to ask for help because of the harsh punishments for speaking your mind. Please do not send your students to Kalaheo for their sake. This school is truly scary and corrupted."
"The teachers are okay but the administrative staff including but not limited to the nurse station, are the most incompetent group of people on this planet. No integrity what so ever."
"Teachers are decent, however funding gets spent on the wrong things. The school does not have air conditioning so in the Summer months it gets very hot. Extremely hard to learn when you're sweating. There is also no freedom on part of the students. You have to take classes over and over even if you have credit for them and have already completed them, and are given more filler classes so you always have a full schedule. If they let you take the classes that you needed and not have to take classes that aren't even relevant then it would be a much better school overall. My old school had more freedom and even would let us leave at lunch to get food because they trusted us to come back and we were mature. It felt like I was a baby at this school. Overall just overbearing policies instituted by Ms. Hummel."
"Dedicated teachers despite the poor attitude of most students. The staff and vice principals are kind and caring and Susan is wonderful :) If you are a parent don't let your child use a phone at school."
