"I booked an early morning kitesurfing sessions through Hawaiian Watersports not knowing what to expect. Arrived the next morning and was greeted by Ray who was to be my instructor. He is extremely friendly, patient and knowledgable in the sport. Ray uses a radio system to communicate with you while your in the water which makes all the difference when you are receiving feedback or want to ask for help. I had an absolute blast and by the time the session was over I booked few more sessions with him. Eventually I was feeling confident and was able to get out of the water and ride the board. Highly recommend him."

"I had an excellent experience learning to efoil with Ray! From my inquiry phone call to the last moment of the lesson I knew what to expect and felt safe and empowered. The coaching was top notch and having the head set allowed the instructor, Ray, to encourage and guide me through the technique. One hour isn’t enough time to master any new skill (so have reasonable expectations for yourself), but I was up on foil and making progress on turns and laughing and exhausted from falling and climbing back up to try again. I highly recommend this shop and its instructors to anyone looking to learn a new sport!"

"The best place on island for surf, kite, windsurf, or wing foil gear. They even offer lessons to help you get started on the right foot. I bought a board here a year ago and I’m always stoked to stop by and check out the new gear."

"I had a great day out on the water! I loved the easy paddle out to the islands and back. Even saw a sea turtle on the reef so bring your mask! I used a Groupon and had no problems reserving my kayak. I did have to call (not book online) because I was barely within the 24-hr window. They took my Groupon info. over the phone with no problems. Reserve in advance and don't wait until the last minute if you are worried about a discount voucher. I also recommend getting there right at 9am on a weekday. I was in and out in 15 minutes (including loading up my car). I got great parking at Kailua Beach that way too! Also cleaning off the sand was no big deal. I pulled my kayak next to the showers and rinsed out the inside by filling an empty water bottle. By the time I got the kayak loaded, I was able to brush the rest of the dry sand off with my hand. Fantastic day all around!!"
