A Kula Hawai'i is an independent school located at 4551 Kapuna Road, Kilauea, Hawaii, United States. We believe that students have unlimited potential and seek to empower them to see the world through multiple perspectives, expanding their awareness and understanding. Our mission is centered around self-awareness and respect for Hawaiian culture and philosophy, recognizing the connection of all things in nature.

Tuition at A Kula Hawai'i is $5,500 per year, but we are dedicated to ensuring that families who may not otherwise consider private schooling have the opportunity to enroll. Our Nature Inspired Learning Environment encourages students to connect with the natural world around them, fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.

We are currently in the process of a phased reopening, starting with Grades 7-10 this year and planning to add more grades in the future. Our campus is set on a beautiful 22-acre site on the North Shore of Kaua'i, with a special emphasis on an Indigenous model of knowing and learning integrated into the curriculum.
