"Fully agree on the comment below on management being on power trip. The front desk plus management is super agressive. I had a guest over at the swimming pool and the fronk desk showed up on a pretty agressive manner saying he was not notified. I was with my kid and did not want to escalate thus called the management/manager. The manager simoly said front desk reacted that way because my tone was not nice lol."
"The building is well maintained for 50-something year old building. Management is always on a power trip about something; they think they’re in charge of the Ritz Carlton or something when this is a below-average Honolulu high rise. I’ve had security banging on my door at odd hours of the night on power trips over incidents that were out of my control while I was sleeping. Furthermore, when you actually need management their lazy managers are in the office all day, only with “office hours”, insulting and childish. The management posts notices that look like legal documents therefore intimidating the residents of the building. Highly recommend looking at the Waipuna next door, much better run, better amenities, and intelligent management."
"Love it in this building! The property is perfectly situated between Waikiki and Ala Moana and has some of the best unobstructed views of the Ala Wai as it feeds into the ocean during sunset."
"This building is in a great location. Right in Waikiki but not really in the chaos. You can walk to Waikiki beach, Ala Moana Park, the mall.... I feel VERY safe here, security does a great job and they really don't let anyone in. The gym has been closed for renovations and COVID , but it's nice to have a work out area. The pool/jacuzzi/bbq area is amazing ! Management is very strict, but they always try to accommodate you. There are a lot of rules, but that's how you achieve efficiency. Also, there is a food pantry right downstairs. Basically, the back exit of the building is the entrance to Eaton Square"
"Horrible Security, Horrible Management Beautiful building run by horrible staff. I do not recommend anyone to live here or rent with the current staff. Our gym has been closed down for most of the year, our pool is always broken or limited ...and after paying so much in a pandemic, there’s no sense of urgency. I don’t feel safe. Let’s talk about Security. The worker named Francis, is a bully. He needs to be let go. He harasses the other staff members, tenants, and guests..and he doesn’t even live in the building. It’s sad because one person makes me and so many people feel uncomfortable living there. I do not recommend anyone to live or rent until he or other changes are made."
