"This review is based on my experience from 2013 to about 2018. My husband and I were looking for a place to rent in central Oahu. With no renting history and short credit history, Aloha was the one who gave my husband and I a chance. It was very convenient that Bill Ramsey's office was walking distance to our place. Aloha was very organized and prompt. She communicated w/us appropriately and the application process was very fast and smooth. Back then, we did paper applications, even then, our application was reviewed promptly and we moved in to the studio within a week or two. Throughout our days as tenants under Bill Ramsey's management, we never experienced an issue when it came to repairs, or delays in services. Granted, we only had one incident in which we needed to get a hold of a plumber, and Bill Ramsey staff was able to quickly book one. We were never late w/our payments, overall we were quiet tenants and kept to ourselves. So there was no reason to get in trouble with anybody. We only moved out of the unit because the owner was selling it and we did not want to wait and find out if new owners were interested in renting it or not. So once we got noticed of the potential sell, we quickly looked for a bigger and better place. This initial studio had served us well, and we were ready to move on.We followed the moving out guidelines and kept close communication w/Aloha. Once everything cleared, we were able to get our deposit back within the month, and that was the end of it. I am sad to read some people have not have a good experience with this management group, and very much hope these are special cases which have gotten resolution. Compared to other property management groups in the area, this one was a good experience for us."

"We are currently renting for about 14 yrs at the same place which is managed by Bill Ramsey and noticed that the staff doesn’t seems much pro active when it comes to situations about their clients rental homes when it comes to services. I had called them regarding about the washing machine not working and it hasn’t been rectified for nearly 3 weeks. We are currently hand washing our clothes and very disappointed how they don’t follow thru as quickly as the past rental management were. Communication thru the company has a huge gap and it’s unfortunate that they are still in business to even handle people investments this way"

"Very poor management. We rented a property in Kailua and it was really run down. Over the years we replaced broken fans, light fixtures, plumbing, installed AC units and never asked the management company for a dime. On move out the agent was shocked how well the and updated the property was. Then shocker the refused to return our deposit for stupid reasons. They felt the AC units were not installed properly. Well I spent money on them so I'll go take them back out. But no they marketed the property as now having AC. The are a bunch across and should be arrested for fraud. Never rent from them if you can!"

"I rented an apartment for a year and was very pleased.  The agent, Carolyn, was professional and cordial and most importantly, very helpful.  When I had a few issues that needed taken care of, a handyman was sent immediately to solve the matter.  I even got new window blinds. When I bought my own place and ready to move out, I made sure to clean it up well, but still worried that I would be held responsible for the aging floor... However to my relief they were very fair and honest and recognized that I did my best. They returned my deposit in full. If I were to be looking for another rental, I would not hesitate to go back to them. In addition, I recommended my friends to this company and especially their nice agent, Carolyn"
