"Its not the best, but its not the worse. You get what you pay for. A parking space in the garage is $100 a month. I never paid for parking space because I drive a small car and usually am good at finding street parking. The manager for the place Andrew is pretty good. I have good experience with him and never had a problem getting in touch with him whether its via email or phone. I noticed that he really good at making sure issues are solve asap. I also seen him a lot around the building which I find to be a good sign, because I rarely see prior managers around the building ensuring the place is good, unless they plan to sale a place. For as the place itself. Its not bad for a studio apartment, my electricity bill is never more than $30 bucks, but that's because I'm pretty frugal and make sure I don't leave chargers or any other stuff plugged in, or turn things off when not in use. I have had noisy neighbors in the past, but I noticed they are usually college students who live here during the school year or at least a semester and move out within the first 2-3 months, which is great for me. Sometimes people don't know they are loud, so talking to them letting them know helps. There are people who rummage through the dumpsters, so be very careful with throwing out sensitive paperwork. I highly recommend shredding them. The area is relatively safe. No one around here seems shady to me, plus there hasn't been any incidents of people getting their cars broken into on this street which is good. Using the laundry room is what I would expect from using any other public laundry facility. I haven't had my clothes stolen, but I have had people take my laundry out the washer and put them on the counter instead of a dryer. So if you don't like your laundry touch, I would wait in the laundry room, or periodically check every so often. People can be pretty impatient, and I had to confront an individual about it in the past. I do think the washer machine cost is unnecessary high. $1.75 for a regular/small load $2.00 for heavy load. Dryer is $1.25. So if you know someone who has a washer and dryer, used them lol. Other than that, I would recommend this place. I give it a 7/10."
"DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I had so much trouble with these people throughout the year I lived here. They tried charging me late fees 3 times for rent that was paid on time bc their computer was broken and didn't scan the check into their system on time. It took 2 weeks to fix a leak in my bathroom wall that was deemed an "emergency" situation. Their emergency maintenance line is disconnected. Read your lease very very thoroughly they hide a lot in 35 pages like 28 days notice to vacate or they will continue to charge you beyond the terms of your lease. Don't bother scheduling a move out inspection bc they won't show up for it and then they will still charge a butt load of money to have the apt "professionally cleaned" even if it is spotless. In addition it's not a good area to live in. There is never any street parking after 2pm, there is garbage and bulk trash out every day so lots of critters around, and you are so close to the other buildings you can hear everyone fighting. Someone is always going through the dumpster so shred your documents. Plus there are 2 washers and 4 dryers (coin operated of course) for 36 units and most of the time at least one if not both washers are broken. All utilities are ala cart so you pay separately for everything. Base rent is $1395 plus $100 for a parking spot plus $50 or so a month for laundry plus $50 or more a month for electricity ($125 if you get an a/c unit). If you get cable and internet your looking at over $1700 a month!!! Save yourself money and a migraine and go somewhere else!!!!"
