"I had a smooth and delightful experience working with the guys at Kona Boys Beach Shack! I stayed at the Marriott so they were extremely convenient to rent from and I had a great experience with most of the staff. Ray was especially awesome, he remembered my name from the second day forward. I rented an umbrella and chairs for their whole week price (which was a steal compared to daily rates!) and an SUP almost every morning. The bay the cove opens up to was full of dolphins multiple times and a real treat to experience. Great business with a chill vibe!"
"We appreciated being able to walk out of the Marriott straight to Kona Boys for equipment. Everything worked, and prices are very reasonable. They offer tours as well. Syd was the best. She was patient and kind."
"Kona Boys were the best! Sure they have a plethora of beach items to rent (chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear) but you must hit them up for an outrigger tour! Our guide was awesome, gave us such fascinating history about the island and Hawaiian culture all while also instructing us on to how to properly paddle an outrigger. Great experience, well worth it and definitely glad we went out first thing. The water can get a little rougher as day goes on and it does get hot under the amazing Hawaiian sun. If you are a little queasy in the water, this is still ok for you. Dip your hand in the water now and then to cool off and you will be good. It’s a beautiful way to see the island and to support business."
"Both guys working the shack were excellent, informative, and polite. Brother-in-law and I had a great time renting the bodyboards and taking them out past the pier. Not a bad price at all to see all those different fish up close."
