"The rooms were very clean and well dusted. Staff were really friendly. Our window screen was broken so we kept it closed before any bugs got in. They charge us 15$ per night for overnight parking but had an event which took all the stalls and cars were over parked. Took about 30 mins to get a stall. The water bottle and fountain was really nice."

"The employees were very nice. The room was okay. The parking is terrible. There’s a lot of construction next to it. Our room was next to the hallway door so we could hear it slamming every time someone left. The courtyard was nice with a great water view. The smoke detector in our room constantly went off. There’s absolutely no privacy in the bathroom because of the door so frequent blasters be aware. Overall the hotel isn’t worth the $400 a night price tag we paid but it wasn’t the worst place I stayed. Once the construction next to it is done it will improve the parking and overall noise levels around the property."

"This place was definitely false advertising. The rooms look nothing like what they do in the pictures on line. We paid for an ocean front room and didn’t get ocean front. The key card didn’t work at the door to get us to the hallway our room was in. The smell was horrible. As soon as we opened the door to our room it definitely smelled like someone was just in there smoking. The A/C in the room was off. When we turned it on it spit water at me. We left to go shopping, came back, opened the door to our on and it smell like pot badly! The room was so small. Even though it looked clean, it didn’t feel clean. Normally I am okay with taking my shoes off walking around in some socks and I definitely did not there. This room was right about $400 a night. I expected more for that price. So save your money and go somewhere else."

"Friendliest property I have ever stayed at. This property has some age but it is maintained very well. Stayed on property 10 days total. Never seen any bugs as the other reviews stated (I was all over this property, never had an issue). The rooftop pool was great for relaxing and the courtyard bubble cabanas were perfect for me and the wife to hang out. Rooms are economically sized and the suites are large for families ( if you can get it room 222 has the greatest view on the property). Don’t let someone’s impatience or sense of entitlement keep you from experiencing the hospitality of this property. Hands down nicest staff I have ever met. Everyone might have a different experience, but I stand firm behind my review of Maui Beach Hotel! Absolutely love this property!"

"The location is terrific, close to the airport, and Kahalui. The hotel is right there on the beach and you can hear the waves at night. The grounds are very well kept. The staff are helpful, and very friendly. However, our room was tiny. As in "can barely turn around in the shower" and there is very little space between the bed and the wall. It's clean, it's well maintained, but at this price point I'd hope for something less claustrophobic."
