"I recently had a disappointing experience at Roy's Fishing Company, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. My visit to the store was marred by an encounter with a rather rude lady who works there. As my family and I arrived at the store, we parked in what appeared to be a vacant parking spot designated for the store. To our surprise, the lady came charging out, snapping at us for parking in "their" spot. Her tone was aggressive, and she immediately assumed that we were not customers of the store. I found her behavior to be uncalled for and unwelcoming. It's important for employees to greet and treat potential customers with respect, regardless of whether they have made a purchase yet. This lady's assumption about our intentions and her immediate confrontation left a bitter taste in our mouths. As a customer, I value professionalism and courtesy when engaging with any business establishment. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. It's crucial for businesses to train their employees to handle situations like these with grace and politeness. Despite this negative encounter, I must mention that I cannot comment on the overall quality of Roy's Fishing Company as I did not have the chance to explore their products or services. However, based on this particular interaction, I cannot say that I would be eager to return or recommend this store to others. I hope that Roy's Fishing Company takes this feedback constructively and addresses the issue of customer service. A welcoming and respectful environment goes a long way in fostering positive relationships with customers, which ultimately benefits both parties involved."

"long story short, I bought a new pole and it broke the next day. they couldn't do anything about it. they told me to call the manufacture to get it fix. I called the store and the lady picked up, she was being kind of rude on the phone and when i told her my pole broke she got more rude. I told her I misplaced my receipt and if she could reprint one. she told me ill look when I have time to look and to call back in a few hrs then hung up. the customer service was horrible."

"Excellent service! Flew in from other island to buy some shimano reels and line. Fair prices, good inventory. Store was very busy but still got great service. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Would gladly support this local business over and over. Highly recommend. Much mahalo"

"I wanted to purchase a Daiwa Emblem 11' rod from this place. I checked the spine location on each rod and noticed that out of all the Emblem rods some was priced $109.00 and some priced at $32.00. I thought at that point, the cheaper ones had flaws on them. I carefully checked them, some of the spines was way off, but I found one that was not too bad. I decided to buy it. I took it to the counter and Sandy scanned the tag instead of giving me the price that was on the tag. It rang up as $99.00 on sale. I decided not to get it because of the price. I asked her about the price on the tag, and she quickly said, no I cannot give it to me for that price, without no apologies. So I just walked out. What's up with that, no need to add price on the tags then!"

"By far the best experience in customer service I have ever had. Owners were extremely helpful and even stayed past closing time to help me and my friends out. They set up lures and taught how to rig it all up. Large inventory and welcoming environment. 10/10 would recommend."
